Shot with 100 participants, including 28 scenes across 25 locations in five days, the video sees a diverse group of England fans, ranging from 11 to 67 years of age, each playing a unique role in showcasing the 26 players Gareth Southgate has named for the competition. The team were on set for 60 hours across those five days, shooting 6,100ft (1.86km) of 16mm film.Produced by the FA and Kode Media, and directed by Otis Dominique, the video features the track Candle Flame by Brit Award-winning band Jungle, along with cameos from darts superstar Luke Littler, Lionesses legend Jill Scott, England blind men’s player Azeem Amir, sports presenter Jules Breach and Sky Sports commentator Peter Drury.

For 17-year-old Marek from Enfield, who was involved in Kyle Walker’s announcement scene, it was a day he says he’ll never forget. He said: “It was an absolutely incredible experience. Being able to meet others on set, professionals, getting in front of a camera and doing this for something so big – it’s an amazing opportunity and I'm super grateful.”

Also involved was Matthew Davey, 29, from Birmingham, who featured in a Dudley cafe while ordering the Jude Bellingham Breakfast as the Real Madrid man's spot in the squad was confirmed. Matthew said: “For me, it was the first time I’d been that side of the camera, so I was a bit nervous. Luckily, I got to do it with my friend Rory who I’ve known for over ten years and I really enjoyed the experience!”

Kate Kelly, 28, from Newcastle was joined in the video by her dogs and four-year-old Magnus from County Durham to announce the inclusion of Conor Gallagher. Kate said: "It was super exciting! I couldn’t believe it when I got the call and am absolutely buzzing my baby pups got to feature. It was a fab day shooting at our house and a great experience for Magnus to be involved with us on the project."

Richard Dench, 48 from London, featured in his Caribbean food truck for the Declan Rice segment and added: "It was a joy and proud to be part of it! I'm glad to be showcasing our passion for both great food and unforgettable experiences."The squad announcement video was released on England social channels this afternoon.
